This is my first post in over a year as I have been busy with teaching. This is a cover illustration to Justin Hebert's soon to be published novel. He gave me specifics regarding image content allowing me for interpretation. I hope I have done his character justice. General feedback and helpful suggestions and comments are always welcome.

i think the ear is a bit small, but perhaps it's part of his character, dunno

Thanks about the ear, I'll touch it up. I did make it smaller on purpose but I see now what you mean.

I think the choice of colours is great, one thing that is bugging me is the hair style, the gelled bit seems to start in the middle of the forehead and head behind his left ear as opposed to down the centre of his head. i may be imagining it tho

Good point Recce, I'll touch that up too. Oh and it was made in Photoshop 6 FYI. Thanks everyone for the help.
